I’m from Maryland, I live in Maryland, I go to school in Maryland. I guess you can say I’m a Marylander.

On a photographer stand-point, I have been messing with photography since I was 9 years old. My dad bought me my first camera on my 9th birthday, it was an easy to use polaroid camera that I instantly fell in love with. I took pictures of everything, the four cases of instant film that I received with the camera were used up in no time. In high school I started taking photography classes and working with 35 mm film, I loved it and didn’t want to do anything but photography. When college came, I started out at a private all-girls college where I majored in Art History, but I quickly realized that, that school wasn’t for me and transferred out to Anne Arundel Community college where I majored and received my Associates degree in fine arts. From there I went to my current school where I am now on my way to a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with a concentration in photography. I currently shoot with a Nikon D7000 and I love it!

In December 2008 my dad died suddenly, since that moment I haven’t wanted to do anything, but work my hardest to accomplish everything he wanted for me. He never got to see my photographs that were taken with my dslr, so if by some miracle Heaven gets internet, I hope he can see my blog and my photographs. Above everything, I hope he is proud.
