Photography is more to us than just capturing gorgeous photos. A big part of Britney Clause Photography is the people we interact with. We love meeting with clients, talking about engagement sessions over email, and bonding over common interests. Getting feedback is an important part of growing as a company and individuals. Our big goal was making an update that would provide these opportunities to hear and converse more with everyone. We are always looking for ways of expanding our reach and ability to communicate. We've made a few huge changes, so check them out below.

Talk to us on the Blog

First, and perhaps the biggest update, is that the blog now has commenting! We used to have this feature years ago, but had to lose it with the new and cleaner site design. We've missed this feature, since we love having more opportunities for feedback on our posts. At the bottom of each blog post is a new comment section, similar to what you'll find elsewhere on the Internet. Being able to communicate directly to blog posts means being able to share your opinion and voice more readily. Whether it's a sneak peek of your wedding or a personal post from one of us, you can now join in a conversation directly with others.

There are still some features that we'll be adding over time to boost our relationship and connection. Commenting is just the first update to a long list of what we want to accomplish. We will reveal more in time, but for now, we're just very excited to have commenting back in our blog. Be sure to head down to the comment section to let us know how you like it!

Improvements to the Gallery and Shop

We provide our own online gallery for our couples and clients. Keeping everything together in the same location means our experience is seamless for everyone. It's important to have a single website to manage everything from checking the status of your wedding, submitting payments, to finally receiving your amazing images. We want our couples to feel comfortable dealing with us and trust that we will take care of them.

Ultimately, we are working to build a full home for our clients and everything photography related. I have briefly talked about this in the past, and we are now one step closer to that goal. Our Gallery section of the client experience has been receiving some pretty awesome renovations recently. The interface is more intuitive, the download capability has been overhauled, and the entire flow is more seamless with new Help tool-tips.

Perhaps my favorite update is the ability to "Share" your gallery now. Having your wedding photos digitally is great, but being able to share it with friends and family is even better. Under the menu, there is a new button which lets you give a personal link to your gallery. You can put the link in an email to Grandma, share it on Facebook, or hand it to anyone who asks. It's a great opportunity to let others experience the fun and excitement of your wedding or engagement session. All without the hassle of uploading the images somewhere else.

Future Endeavors

Next on our radar is pushing further with our client lounge. We will be focusing on enriching the website, and make sure we deliver an experience that is supportive and comfortable. We will also be looking at more ways to encourage communication between our clients, future clients, and fans. There is a lot we are thrilled to be able to do, so stay tuned to future blog posts to hear when to expect these updates!
